The Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery

The extraordinary Tian Tan Buddha (informally known as the Big Buddha) stands gracefully at 34 metres high as tourists ascend the steps towards this majestic bronze statue. Opposite, the Po Lin Monastery is one of Hong Kong’s most important Buddhist sanctums.
